How can I help? |

For the children living on the streets
- For safety and protection in danger and need.
- For them to realise their need of stable families, and for
people to be willing to take children into their loving care.
- That God would open the hearts of children that they might
receive Jesus as a real living lord and Saviour, and begin
transforming and healing them through his powerful Holy Spirit.
For us working with them
- For wisdom as we try to decide what we should do for each of
the children we meet.
- For the finances we need to support the ministry - especially
feeding children and providing for medical care.
- For more people to help us in this vital work.
- For perseverance and determination when the work seems
impossibly hard.
For Families in Mwanza and across Tanzania:
- For them to love their children, and for parents to stay
faithful to each other.

Things that would be helpful:
- Money to support the work
- Equipment - used or new that we can use either:
- directly in the work (eg clothes) or
- for income-generating projects (shop etc)
- books to help families which are under pressure - to help
prevent children running away.
- Skills, training, expertise, advice
- to help us work more effectively with the children.
- to help our income-generating projects run better.
- in fact, speaking of that, read on...

We don't just need money. We need people
- who love God and want to love their neighbours as
themselves - the young neighbours who are living on the streets
of Mwanza.
- who know about some of the issues street children face,
who are willing to learn more and help us develop our work
intelligently.
- who would like to work with us and research more about why
children end up on the streets and how these issues can be
resolved.
- to come and lead seminars for parents, helping families which
are struggling and falling apart.
- who don't feel that they have much to offer, but want to come
and play and build relationships with the children even just for
a few weeks.
- who care.
Does any of this sound like you?
- get in touch with us and ask how you
can be involved, whether for a week or two or for a year or
more!
